Progressive Bake Academy 🍪✨

Our weekly term program is where little bakers grow big skills! Each term, kids explore new ingredients, techniques, and fun cultural bakes from around the world.

Through hands-on baking (yes, mixing with their hands included!), children build fine motor skills, confidence, and independence. From keeping things clean to tidying up after, they pick up important life skills—without even realizing it.

Bake Academy is a fun drop-off class where kids bake, learn, and create independently

Important Message for Parents

  • Parents play an important role in their child’s baking journey. While children are learning new skills in the kitchen, parents can help make the experience even more enjoyable and rewarding.
  • Do not expect your child to master baking immediately after joining their first class. Every child learns at a different pace depending on their confidence, coordination, and learning style. As a parent, it is best to focus on the long-term development of skills, creativity, and confidence rather than expecting quick results.
  • Please avoid being overly ambitious about your child’s progress. Baking is a hands-on skill that takes practice, patience, and repetition. Allow your child to improve gradually and enjoy the process. There is no shortcut to learning, regular classes & practice will help them grow far more than occasional sessions.
  • If your child makes mistakes, such as spilling ingredients, breaking a cookie, or decorating imperfectly, don’t worry. Mistakes are part of the learning process. Encourage them to keep trying and praise their effort. This builds confidence and helps children enjoy baking.
  • If your child seems shy, distracted, or emotional during class, it does not mean they are not ready. They may simply be adjusting to a new environment, learning to be independent, or having a bad day. Give them time to settle in & develop confidence.
  • Please avoid comparing your child with others. Every child has different strengths, creativity, and learning ability.
  • Most importantly, let your child have fun, explore, and enjoy the experience. With patience, encouragement, and regular practice, they will grow into confident little bakers.

Thank you for being part of the Gobblin Bake Academy journey.
